Register this phone
A manager enters the site's duty phone code once. After that, this phone opens straight to officer sign-in for that site. Officers can only sign in on registered duty phones.
Managers: the code is in the Sites tab, under the site's Duty phones.

Officer training
Every officer at this site is trained on each main section of the post orders. Each sign-off shows who gave the training and when. Tap a name to see the full history.
Training
Tap a cell to record that section for that officer. Tap a name for their history. Officers confirm each sign-off on their own device.
Review
The client sees these reports only after you approve them. Send one back with a note and the officer sees it at the top of their screen. Change what needs review in Site setup, Report rules.

Suggestions for the post orders QUESTIONS RICHARD COULDN'T ANSWER
Officers asked these, and the post orders don't cover them. Each one is a likely gap. Draft wording with Richard, check it, then add it to the post orders as a new revision.

Officers
Add an officer
Birthdays and PINs are stored only as one-way scrambled codes, never as the dates or numbers themselves.
Officer roster
Add many officers at once
Upload a spreadsheet saved as CSV, or paste rows. Columns: name, employee ID, birthday, and optionally post and site. Rows without a site go to the site picked in the top bar. Most payroll exports work as they are.
Admin access
Admins see the admin tabs and can switch views. Share the app with a person as Editor first, have them open it once, then make them an admin here. Clients should be shared as Viewer. They see only the client view.

Set up this site from its post orders
Upload the post orders you already have (PDF, Word or text). Richard drafts the post orders, who to call, patrol routes, places and the reports this site needs. You review everything before anything changes.
Or paste the text instead
Officer home screen
Main buttons are the big tiles on the home screen, up to 6 (3 rows of 2). More puts a button in the "More" list. Use the arrows to change the order. Emergency steps always stay on screen.
Report rules
Report distribution
Who receives each kind of report once it's approved. Pick from the site's managers and client contacts (add them in the Sites tab), or type other emails. Email sending turns on when DutyBook runs at dutybook.ai; until then every send is recorded and waits.
Emergency steps
Officers see these exact steps when they tap Emergency steps. They never come from AI. Write {supervisor} to fill in this site's supervisor (and control center, if it has one) from the Sites tab.
Places
Doors, docks, yard rows, floors and areas. Officers tap a place instead of typing it, so locations are always spelled the same in reports.
Who to call
One card per situation, with contacts in the order officers should call them. Contacts marked "Weekdays 8–5 only" are dimmed at night and on weekends.
Patrol routes
Custom reports
Build any report officers need, or start from a template. Readings outside a normal range are flagged to supervisors. To give a report its own button, set it to Main in Officer home screen.
Sites and zones
Each site has its own post orders, officers, reports and setup. Group sites into zones to view several at once with the switcher at the top. Clients only see the sites you give them.
Add a site
Copying a similar site brings its post orders, reports, places, routes, who to call and rules. Adjust them after in Site setup.
